This website is run by Prairie & Plot Specialty Equipment, LLC, a manufacturing business in Spencer, Iowa. We build and sell the Dew Drop Drill.

This policy is short because our practices are simple. We are not in the data business.
When you send us an inquiry. Our order request form asks for your name, email address, phone number, your organization if you have one, the zip code we would ship to, and whatever you want to tell us or ask us. We use that to answer your question, quote shipping, and follow up about an order. Nothing else.
When you call or email us. We keep the correspondence so we can pick up where we left off, which matters when someone comes back with a parts question three years later.
When you browse the site. Like most websites, ours collects basic technical information automatically: which pages you look at, roughly what part of the country you are in, what browser and device you are using, and how you found us. We use Google Analytics for this, and it sets cookies in your browser to do it. It tells us which pages are useful and which are not. It does not tell us who you are, and we do not try to work that out.
We do not sell your information. We do not rent it, trade it, or hand it to anyone for marketing purposes.
We do not run a newsletter, and asking us a question does not put you on a mailing list.
There are no user accounts on this site, no comment sections, and nothing to log into.
A few ordinary service providers handle information in the course of running the site and our business:
None of them are permitted to use your information for their own purposes.
We will share information if the law requires it of us.
Some pages have video embedded from YouTube. When one of those pages loads, YouTube may set cookies and collect information about your visit, the same as if you had gone to YouTube directly. That is covered by Google’s privacy policy rather than ours.
If you send an inquiry and do not buy anything, we keep the record for three years after we last hear from you, then delete it.
If you buy a drill, we keep your order and contact details for as long as we support that machine. These drills last a long time and people come back years later needing a part or a setting, and we would rather have your file than start from scratch.
Either way, you can ask us to delete your information sooner.
You can ask us what information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Call (712) 264-1186 or email info@dewdropdrill.com and we will take care of it. We will not charge you and we will not make it difficult.
Depending on which state you live in, you may have further rights over your personal information. If you want to exercise them, contact us the same way and tell us what you need.
This site is not aimed at children and we do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 13.
If we change how we handle information, we will update this page and change the date at the top.
