The Dew Drop Drill is a compact no-till seed drill that also plants into tilled ground. It has a three-foot working width and is sized to be pulled by an ATV or UTV, no full-size tractor needed. It plants warm and cool-season grasses, wildflowers, forbs, legumes, small and large grains, and food plot mixes, in a random pattern across the full three-foot band rather than in defined rows. Twin ground-driven seed boxes meter the seed, twelve adjustable offset discs open the ground up to three inches, and ten spring harrow tines fold the seed in behind them. It exists because the ground that most needs planting is usually the ground you cannot get equipment onto. Right-of-ways, waterways, fence lines, steep pasture, a half-acre strip at the back of a timber. A full-size drill needs a tractor and a trailer, and it will not turn around in a plot you could walk across in a minute. This one goes where the four-wheeler goes.

Then set the discs flat for a shallow pass and check your depth after the first few feet. Call the shop before your first pass in tilled ground and we will walk through the setup for your soil.
It was originally designed for ATVs, and it is also pulled by UTVs, lawn and garden tractors, and standard agricultural implements. For hilly ground, use an ATV or UTV with at least a 450cc engine. The coupler takes a 1-7/8 inch ball. Many newer UTVs ship with a 2 inch ball, so check yours before the drill arrives.
The Dew Drop Drill features two rows of 6 offset discs that can cut up to 3 inches into the soil. The disc mounts are adjustable, allowing users to set them at 0, 10, or 20-degree angles for customized soil penetration.
The drill runs on a 12V independent power system controlled by an FCC-approved wireless remote. If the remote goes missing in the field, a control board inside the right panel keeps you running. The seed boxes are ground-driven, so there is no motor or electronics in the metering to fail.
The Dew Drop Drill comes standard with discs, but you can enhance its performance with the optional Triple Tine Kit for $600. This upgrade replaces the disc system with three rows of harrow tines, creating 30 staggered soil channels to improve seed-to-soil contact in rocky and arid soils.

That is what the large seed box is built for. Fluffy warm-season seed bridges and packs in a plain hopper, so the large box runs five picker wheels with five agitators to keep it moving and metering at a consistent rate. Five application rates are set with quick-change sprockets.
It is a drill, and the difference is worth understanding. A broadcast seeder throws seed onto the surface and leaves it there for weather and birds. A drill opens the ground, tilled or not, meters seed into it at a set depth, and closes it back over. Plenty of machines sold as no-till seeders or food plot planters are really spreaders with a drag bar behind them. This one cuts, meters, and covers.
